it's been a while...

i have a job. i start sometime this week. i'm gluing together cardboard packaging for jay's potato chips.

i'm going to the reunion in california in july. i get back the day before al franken is in winona. i need to figure that out.

matt graduated and went to prom. he's all grown up. i'm not quite sure how i feel about that just yet.

tom and beth picked the church and reception hall for their wedding. it's all moving really fast. i'm excited, though. they're happy.

and i'm happy. i love coming back here and just picking up right where i left off with everybody. i'm going to be in california when laurel leaves for australia, which sucks, but i'm getting to spend a lot of time with her before she goes. i see amanda just about every day. frank calls me LITERALLY every day. nick's trampoline and wiffle ball field are up. i was over there the other night with freebs, him, tom, eddy, john, dj, ricky, and tom's cousin whose name i didn't catch. freebs and i left about 1 am-ish, after the first game and the rain delay, but they played two more after we left. i think vance was heading over to play, but he had been at the sox game, so i don't know. tropical sno is open. amazing. i'm there just about every day with my two dollars in hand, waiting for that amazing hawaiian shaved ice. heaven.

i wish i talked to some of my friends from school more often. SOME, NOT ALL. tasha calls me every other day or so, and we chat until the wee hours of the night. they're some pretty amazing conversations. and i talk to katie and jared online a lot, and katie calls me every once in a while. i love all this. i wish i heard from carla more, though. i haven't gotten anything from her since she and tim stayed the night in may. she's busy, though, so i understand.
